Virtual Doctor Appointments - Video Visits

Heart of Illinois OB-GYN is pleased to offer patients the option to be seen by their provider (your doctor or nurse practitioner) from the comfort and safety of their own home during the coronavirus pandemic. These virtual doctor visits are conducted via a video link using a telemedicine program called Microsoft Teams.

Requirements for a Virtual Doctor Visit

Virtual appointments must be conducted using a device that has both a microphone and a camera. This can be your smartphone, an iPad or tablet, laptop computer or a desktop computer. Most desktop computers don’t come with a camera and microphone, so please check yours before scheduling your appointment.

If you will be using your phone or tablet for your telemed appointment, please download the Teams app to your device. You do not need to create an account, you can join as a guest. Please use the corresponding download link depending on your device.
