Our Infertility Specialists:
Infertility is hard. We can help.
Infertility can be a tough challenge to face. Here at HOI-OBGYN, we understand this challenge, and that's why we have highly trained individuals who are here to help you. Dr. Zotz (pictured on the left) and NP Abby Cervantes (pictured on the right) are trained in NaPro Technology. "NaPro" stands for Natural Procreative Technology. It is a women's health field that works very closely with a woman's menstrual and fertility cycle. You are not alone in your infertility journey, 10-20% of couples have not become pregnant after one year of trying. There are a number of reasons you may be experiencing this, so let us help you understand those possibilities.
If you are experiencing infertility issues please use the form on this page to get in touch and book an appointment with Dr. Zotz and Abby.
Reasons to Consider an Infertility Evaluation
- You have an irregular menstrual cycle or health problem that affects your fertility
- You are under 35 and have been trying for pregnancy for one year
- You are 35-40 and have been trying for pregnancy for six months
- You are over 40 and desire pregnancy
If any of the scenarios above apply to you, we would recommend scheduling a preconception counseling appointment with Dr. Zotz. We will review your menstrual cycle history at this visit and help you determine the next steps. This could be helping you identify your most fertile time or ordering tests that allow our team to review potential causes of your infertility experience to date.
Overcoming Infertility
First and foremost schedule an initial fertility consult appointment. We will check your menstrual cycle, family health issues, and current medications, and discuss how best to help you overcome infertility. We are experienced in infertility evaluation and treatment. NaPro is one way Dr. Zotz evaluates the cause of your infertility and how to help. NaPro uses the Creighton Model System™(CrMS) to observe and chart biological markers, such as cervical mucus and the presence or absence of bleeding. Dr. Zotz evaluates this information to help perform a diagnosis.

Yes, there are. One solution is IVF. IVF involves stimulating and retrieving multiple mature eggs, fertilizing them with sperm in a dish in a lab, and implanting the embryos in the uterus several days after fertilization. Another solution is fertility drugs and hormones to help the woman ovulate or restore levels of hormones. Dr. Rachel Dalton, Dr. Zotz, and our specialized team will help decide the best solution for you.
